Danny's Brother

Does anyone know if Danny's brother is dead or alive? I know he was attacked by the Tanglewood Boys in order to get Danny the evidence that Danny didn't kill or bury someone when he was younger. But I down remember hearing what happened to his brother after that. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

He stayed in acoma and thats all that was said about it. Danny wasn't left alone b/c Mac thought he would retalliate against the TWB.
